Brandon Routh started acting and modeling when he was a student at University of Iowa to earn money to pay his college tution. oddly enough his first manager signed him up because he thought Brandon Routh looked like Christopher Reeve and thought if they ever make another Superman movie Brandon Routh would be a show in.

as we now know Routh's manager was right and years later Brandon Routh would wear blue and red tights for the film Superman return.

besides superman Brandon Routh was in other films such as Fling, Zack and Miri Make a Porno, Table for Three, and Life Is Hot in Cracktown.

Brandon Routh was born October 9th in 1979 in Des Moines, Iowa. oddly engough his hometown is 100 miles away from the hometown of George Reeves, the first actor to play Superman (he was in the old tv show)
